About me:
Well, let's see... I'm a Computer Science major at K-state University.
Hopefully I've only got another couple o' years of that left. My hobbies
are primarily mountain biking, and computers. My father's new hobby is
knife making, and he's started his own custom knife shop, Igot-Knives.com.
He don't enjoy designing them so much, so I design them under the White Crabb
Designs name. You can see our actual working knives at Igot's site, and
you can see the designs I'm working on in the gallery.
Software:
I'm modeling and rendering in LightWave [8]
from Newtek these days. Its a nice
jump up from Calligari's TrueSpace. I'd like to get my hands on Rhino and
learn some NURBS modeling, but its a bit over my head for now. My post production
work and textures are done
primarily in PhotoShop CS. .
Hardware:
Dual AMD, CPUs runin' at 2.29GHz (That's over clocked from 2.133GHz).
Supported by a gig of DDR and dual monitors. I think its getting close to
time for an upgrade, thow as this comp is several years old and doesn't even
support AGP 8X or SATA or gigabit ethernet, or... .
I do a lot of work with friends, as you may notice if you visit the gallery.
I try to get constant feedback from people as I work on a scene. So if
you have any comments, I'd love to hear.
