The Rabbit cage was modeled after a real cage that sat in our back yard my
father had made for our rabbit. One day, while i was looking
for something to model that would lend itself well to learning my (then) new
program LightWave, i was struck by the mood of the abandoned cage and thought
it'd make for a nice render.

| There's an older render (from around 01/04/2003) to
show the progress. |
 |
| Here is a render of some of the detail after a little
bit of work on the textures. This test render shows some of my niftier
texturing jobs in the scene. I had just gotten two of the veins in when
I rendered this... |

This is the cage as it really existed. It was built for our rabbit,
that died about [two] year[s] ago. It is now in the hands of another rabbit
lover. Hopefully they will take good care of it.
This picture was taken after the cage had been abandoned for quite a while.
I thought it would make a nice render. |
